Todays' Displaced Volunteer Update
1. We still need more people to voluntteer for specific positions
- Tell Me Your Story
- Clean-Up (we need leaders for this and remember you can do this and another job!)
- Supply Collectors
- 20 other people who will be on hand to do whatever needs to be done
2. Many of you have said that you have first aid training but don't really want to be on the first aid team - which is fine because we have it taken care of. However, it would be nice to compile a list of people we can call to help in an emergency or if everyone needs bandaids at the same time or whatever. So, if you wnat to do this, please send me an email with "first aid on-call" in the subject and your name and call number in the text. eyeheartseattle@gmail.com
3. If anyone wants to come along, at 6pm tonight, my very small house-church is planning to do a white flag parade around Greenlake. We'll be at the playground at 6 - rain or shine - then start walking, and you're free to join us along the way too. (hopefully we'll be hard to miss). The more people the better - and you'd be welcome to join us for dinner afterwards!
Thanks,
Becky

Welcome
I've set up this blog so that I can keep you updated a little easier...you'll still be getting tons of email from me I'm sure, but you can also come here, check things out, comment etc.
Below are the jobs/descriptions/needs that we still have. If you have signed up for a specific job, you can view your job description here. If you haven't signed up for a specific job, please check out our needs and either comment or email me to let me know what you want to do.
Note: The job descriptions say to be there at 3pm, but we're asking volunteers to be there at 9am or no later than noon if at all possible - if you can't be there then, it's ok. just let me know.
also, keep collecting cardboard and getting your friends to sign up!
